Somatic Bodywork
Somatic Bodywork offers a hands-on and embodied approach to supporting pelvic, abdominal, and fascial health through specialized bodywork, breath work, and therapeutic movement.
At the heart of this work is the understanding that the body functions best when there is alignment, circulation, and flow. Injury, stress, surgery, trauma, and the demands of daily life can create patterns of tension and restriction that affect how we move, feel, and function.
Through touch, movement, breath, and mindful attention, we support the body's natural capacity for healing while fostering a deeper relationship with its wisdom, rhythms, and signals. Clients are also offered practical tools and self-care practices to continue supporting their healing between sessions.
Areas of focus:
• Digestive health and abdominal tension
• Fertility, preconception, and reproductive wellness
• Pregnancy and postpartum support
• Pelvic, reproductive, and sexual wellness
• Scar tissue from surgery, injury, or cesarean birth
• Chronic pain, fascial restrictions, and mobility concerns
• Trauma recovery and nervous system regulation
• Embodiment and nervous system resilience

Modalities
Myofascial
Release
Developed by physical therapist John F. Barnes, Myofascial Release is a gentle, sustained approach to working with the body's connective tissue system. Rather than forcing change, this work relies on patience and attentive touch to help release restrictions, restore mobility, reduce pain, and support the body's natural capacity for healing.
integrative
approaches
Sessions may also incorporate somatic therapy, yoga therapy, breathwork, therapeutic movement, individualized self-care practices, and other bodywork modalities when appropriate. These approaches help cultivate greater self-awareness, support nervous system regulation, and provide practical tools for carrying the work beyond the treatment room.
